Newport Beaches Safe for Swimming: Health Dept.
Fort Adams State Park Beach and King Park Beach are open to swimming again.

The state Department of Health has lifted its warning about bacteria levels in the waters off two Newport beaches.
Fort Adams State Park Beach and King Park Beach are both safe for swimming after the most-recent water quality test showed bacteria levels are within safe limits, the health department said.
The beaches were closed to swimming on Saturday.
