Newport Bridge Lane Closure Schedule: June 17 To 20
Here's what to expect if you're headed to the Newport Bridge this week.
NEWPORT, RI — As construction continues on the Newport Pell Bridge, several lanes will be closed throughout the day and overnight hours this week. Here's what to expect if you're headed to the East Bay this week.
From Tuesday through Thursday, the right lane on the westbound side of the bridge will be closed from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. During that same time, the right lane will be closed on the other side of the bridge from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
For most of the week, the right lane will be closed on both sides of the bridge for overnight work. The lane closures will be in place through Thursday from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
