Newport Daffodil Days Window Contest Winners Announced

NEWPORT, RI — The winners of this year's Newport Daffodil Days window display contest have been announced. This year, more than 20 local businesses decorated their storefront windows in celebration of the spring festival. Along with the grand prize, awards were given to the best displays for local and national businesses. Each winner will receive a gift certificate courtesy of the Newport Chamber of Commerce.

The Most Daffy: International Tennis Hall of Fame Store, 194 Bellevue Ave.

Local Businesses

• First Place: Style Newport, 306 Thames St.
• Second Place: Sheldon Art Gallery, 59 America's Cup Blvd.
• Third Place: Wish, 8 Thames St.

National Businesses

• First Place: Black Dog General Store, 240 Thames St.
• Second Place: Tervis Tumbler, 195 Thames St.

The Newport Daffodil Days festival kicked off on April 13 and runs through April 21, featuring a variety of fun events for the whole family.
