Newport Hiring Lifeguards, Other Easton's Beach Staff For Summer

NEWPORT, RI — It might still be March, but it's not too early to think about getting a summer job in Newport. And what could be a better summer job than working at the beach?

City officials said they are hiring lifeguards, a beach secretary, recreation watch people and general beach staff for the 2023 season.

Newport city officials said they are offering the following incentives:

• Certification reimbursement
• Hourly incentive pay
• Flexible schedules
• Full time and part time positions
• A free bathing suit
• Paid workout breaks.
