Newport Juvenile Charged For Threats To Post Teen's Naked Breasts Pix Online

NEWPORT, RI — A 15-year-old Newport male was charged with Cyberstalking and Cyber Harassment Prohibited in connection with indecent pictures of another teen. According to the arrest report, the juvenile, whose name is not being released because of his age, obtained naked pictures of a local girl. He allegedly threatened to post them on Instagram.

Police interviewed the victim to learn how the suspect acquired the photographs. Initially, she said she had sent pictures of her breasts to her sister out of fear she had breast cancer. But later she admitted she posted them to Snap Chat, where they are supposed to be deleted. She thought he might have taken a screen shot on his telephone. She thought he might have three photographs.
