Newport Mansions & Other Attractions Offer Locals Free Admission This Weekend​

Newport County residents and hospitality employees can sample local attractions for free this weekend.

NEWPORT, RI — Once a year, most of Newport County's big tourist attractions open their doors for free to residents and hospitality employees. The Preservation Society, Rough Point, Touro Synagogue and 11 others, including a few in Bristol County, will do it again this weekend, June 10, 11 and 12. Visitors showing proof of residency (driver's license or other identification with an address) or proof of hospitality employment (business card, employee ID or pay stub) will enjoy free admission or another value as noted when visiting the attractions listed below.
