Newport Men Arrested for Car Breaks Last Summer
Middletown Police said they cracked the case after a lengthy investigation.

It took more than a year, but Middletown police kept plugging away and now, two Newport men are facing larceny charges for their role in a string of larcenies from cars dating back to last summer.
Middletown police said that Jake Duncan, 21; and March Washington, 20, were responsible for the break-ins.
Duncan, who was charged with obstruction of justice, larceny and tampering with a motor vehicle, was arrested on July 6 of this year.

Shortly thereafter, Washington was identified as a suspect and police got a warrant for his arrest.
On Friday, Duncan was arrested and charged with larceny and tampering with a motor vehicle, police said.
