Newport Officials To Host Transportation Workshop
Members of the public are invited to attend "Keep Newport Moving" and offer their opinions ridesharing, public transit, parking and more.
NEWPORT, RI — Members of the public are invited to an interactive workshop discussing transportation in the city on Thursday. "Keep Newport Moving" will focus on topics including ridesharing, public transit, parking, traffic, accessibility and more.
The workshop will be held at Innovate Newport at 6:30 p.m.
At the workshop, city planners hope to gauge both residents' and visitors' opinions as part of the Transportation Master Plan. The results of the workshop and an online survey will be used in the planning process over the upcoming months.
