Newport Police Dept. Hopes To Fill Cruiser With Christmas Presents

NEWPORT, RI – The Newport Police Department will once again collect toys for children in need this holiday season.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Dec. 10 police will kick off a toy drive at the Walmart on 199 Connell Drive Highway.

All new toy and gift card donations will be accepted for children ages 1 to 16. The public is encouraged to come out to the toy drive and donate what they can.
