Newport Police: Detour On Bellevue Avenue Next Week

NEWPORT, RI - From the City of Newport: On Monday, June 4, 2018, The City of Newport and its contractor Aetna Construction will be completing restoration of the deteriorating concrete roadway on Bellevue Ave. Work will be on Bellevue Ave between Bellevue Court and Perry Street. completing several concrete panels at this location. The work includes the full excavation of the concrete panels and pouring of new concrete. Bellevue Ave northbound will be detoured at Narragansett Ave to Spring Street and or Annandale Road. The southbound lane of Bellevue Ave will remain open at all times. The detour will be commencing on Monday June 4, 2018 with the detour in place around the clock until work is completed Friday June 8, 2018 at 1500 hrs. when Bellevue Ave will be fully open. The southbound lane of Bellevue Ave will remain open at all times.

Police officers will be onsite to facilitate with the flow of traffic.
