Newport Police Log: Recent Arrests

NEWPORT, RI—Police charged three suspects and cited one over the weekend. Information comes from arrest reports.

Aug. 27

Veronica Taubman, 27, of Central Falls, was charged with Domestic Simple Assault or Battery, first offense, at 12:15 a.m. on Ocean Avenue at Gooseberry Beach.

Tyler Simmons, 22, of Middletown, was stopped near Sherman and Spring at 1:45 a.m. and charged with Vandalism and Disorderly Conduct.
