Newport Police: Woman Stole Appliances from Housing Authority
A Newport woman was charged with taking a washer and dryer when she moved out of the Park Holm apartments.
NEWPORT, RI—Janet Danielle Igle, 32, of Newport, was charged with larceny under $1,500 on May 1 at 3:20 p.m. Police suspect she stole a Frigidaire stackable washer and dryer from Park Holm when she moved on April 20. Officers obtained a warrant to search her new residence, after witnesses came forward and said they saw the appliances being loaded on the moving truck.
