Newport Pop Warner Vikings Win 1, Lose 2

Pop Warner Vikings football league players were home(except for the Midgets!) this past Sunday and played the Old Rochester Bulldogs on Sunday, October 10, 2010.

Sunday's scores were as follows:

Tiny Mites

The Tiny Mites played a great game against the Old Rochester Bulldogs.  It was a defensive battle that ended in a tie.

Newport Jr PeeWee: 7 - Old Rochester: 31

The Jr PeeWees played well, but in the end the Old Rochester Bulldogs came out on top with a 31 to 7 victory over the Vikings.

Newport PeeWee: 14 - Old Rochester: 13

The Peewee team came away with their first win of the season.  Both the Vikings and Old Rochester Bulldogs played a very good defensive game.  The final score was 14 to 13.

Chariho: 28 - Newport Midgets: 6

The Midget team played played away @ Chariho.  Offense was able to score 6 points, but in the end Chariho was victorious with a 28 to 6 win over the Vikings.
