Newport's Spouting Rock Beach Back Open To Swimming
The same day, the Department of Health recommended closing Iron's Homestead Beach in Chepachet for high bacteria levels.

NEWPORT, RI — Spouting Rock Beach in Newport is back open to swimming, while a Chepachet Beach was closed for high bacteria levels.
The Newport beach was closed 14 days for unsafe water conditions, from Aug. 6 to 20.
On Friday, the Department of Health also recommended closing Chepachet's Iron's Homestead Beach, also for high bacteria levels.
