One Drug Arrest Sunday At Folk Festival: Newport Police
A Rutland, Mass., man was charged Sunday at 7 p.m. with cocaine possession and Disorderly Conduct, police said.
NEWPORT, RI—Anthony Queeney, 29, of Rutland, Mass., was charged with felony Drug possession and with Disorderly conduct. He was arrested at 7 p.m. at Fort Adams State Park. According to police, he had clenched his fists and was walking up to people at the folk festival. He was also allegedly yelling and screaming obscenities at them. Police also allege they found a bag of cocaine in his pocket.
