Playground Fight Ends With One Summons

NEWPORT, RI —Police handed a 22-year-old Newport woman a summons after she allegedly fought with another woman at the Edward Street playground. Adrianna Elizabeth Bailey was given a summons for Disorderly Conduct — fighting. She allegedly jumped another woman at the playground because the victim was involved with her brother. Officers spoke to the victim, who did not want to press charges. However, witnesses came forward and corroborated the victim's story.
