Pop Warner Vikings Play Hard on the Road Against Fall River

Pop Warner Vikings football league players were on the road this last weekend and played Fall River on Sunday, October 3, 2010.

Tiny Mites

Tiny Mite team played a very good game against Fall River.  Both teams looked good, and despite the cold, played with heart and determination.

Fall River: 0 - Newport Jr PeeWee: 0

Both Newport and Fall River Jr Peewee played an excellent game on Defense.  After a hard fought game neither defense gave up any points as the game ended in a tie 0 - 0.

Fall River: 13 - Newport PeeWee: 6

Newport PeeWee team also played hard.  Both teams scored points and it was a defensive battle, but in the end the Fall River Falcons came out on top 13 - 6.

Fall River: 39 - Newport Midgets: 6

Newport Midgets did not play their best game.  They were only able to score 6 points while the Fall River Falcons scored 39. 

Next week's games are at home in Newport on Sunday, October 10, 2010 against Old Rochester.
