Rhode Island Power Outages: Over 850 Affected

As of 11:21 a.m., Friday, National Grid has reported 853 houses in Rhode Island have lost power because of today's heavy wind advisory.

Of those outages, 627 of them are in Providence County. Another 175 houses also lost power in Newport.

National Grid's website said power is expected to be restored for those houses by 1:15 p.m. The most recent outage information can be found here.
