RI Halloween Weather: Showers Likely During Peak Evening Hours

Rhode Island is certainly getting more tricked than treated when it comes to Halloween weather this year. The hourly forecast currently shows showers likely during the peak evening hours, with a high wind warning going into place well after the kids are safely home with their candy.

According to The Weather Channel, there will be alternating "showers" and "few showers throughout the day." While the chance of rain is just 35 to 40 percent, the hourly forecast shows that steady showers are likely during peak trick-or-treating hours from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

High winds are also in the forecast, but they shouldn't have too much of an impact on Halloween plans. The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning for much of the state starting at 11 p.m. and lasting until 8 a.m. Friday. Overnight travelers are urged to use caution during these hours.
