RI Snow Potential: Flakes Expected In Weekend Coastal Storm
Expect nasty conditions across Rhode Island, though little lasting accumulation is expected.

RHODE ISLAND — The second coastal storm in a week is expected to hit Rhode Island over the weekend, and snow is once again in the forecast.
The Ocean State hasn't seen flakes flying since the early-season snowfall in late October. While conditions will be wet and unpleasant as the flakes are flying this weekend, don't expect the snow to stick around: little to no measurable accumulation is expected.
We continue to monitor the potential for a significant storm Sat into Sat night. Heavy rain and strong winds possible...
