RI Weather: After Days Of Rain, Sunny Weekend Ahead
Rhode Islanders are reminded to obey the stay-at-home and social distancing orders, despite the warmer weather.

After a week of grey skies and drizzle, some sunshine is finally on the way to the Ocean State. Clear skies and warm temperatures are in the weekend forecast, offering cooped-up residents the chance to get some fresh air.
Every Friday, especially when good weather is in the forecast, Gov. Gina Raimondo reminds residents that a stay-at-home order is in effect statewide until May 8. For now, state beaches and parks remain closed, though that could change soon as part of Phase One of reopening, which will only be possible if everyone continues to follow the rules until then, she said.
Playing outside, walks through the neighborhood and bike rides are still acceptable and are encouraged by the governor.
