RI Weather Forecast: Midweek Nor'easter Snow Predictions
Forecasters released their first guess for what this week's storm may bring.

The first official, and very preliminary, forecasts for a possible storm later this week are in. A few days out one thing is for sure: this isn't going to be like the past three storms. In fact, this may not be much at all, according to the early predictions.
The National Weather Service in its Sunday forecast expects Rhode Island to feel the nor'easter, but the accumulating snow may amount to just a dusting. There's also the possibility the state sees 6 inches. It's important to note how recent nor'easters have outperformed some early forecasts - the most recent storm initially was going to be about 6 inches and no more than foot, but it ended up being nearly 2 feet in some areas.
"Confident we'll see some impact w/ this #NorEaster, however the breadth & magnitude of threats relating to impacts remains uncertain at this time," the NWS wrote on Twitter.

The storm is expected to start Wednesday and move into Thursday. It could mean for a very tough Thursday morning commute, as precipitation couples with strong winds and coastal flooding threats.
There have already been three nor'easters this month, the combined might of which knocked out power for millions.
