RI Weather Forecast: More Snow This Weekend?
The weather Grinch is back with another prediction for snow, with most of it landing along the coast this time.
NEWPORT, RI — The weekend weather forecast calls for new snow accumulations, according to the National Weather Service. The most likely scenario says 3-4 inches for Block Island; 2-3 inches along the coast and the interior up through the Coventry area, and just 1-2 inches in Providence and everywhere else.
The snow is supposed to start Saturday night and continue Sunday until about 1 p.m.
The worst-case scenario pumps the snow totals up between 5 and 6 inches.
