RI Weather Forecast: When The Snow Will Start

An updated look at the storm details for tonight.

You already know to expect a healthy amount of snow tonight. It won't be a blizzard - while the snowfall rates and poor visibility qualify, we won't have enough wind - but your front yard will look a lot different when you wake up from when you went to sleep.

Here are the most updated details about the storm, including how much to expect and when it will begin.

Most of Rhode Island is expected to get at least 6 inches, while the southern coast is expected to get at least 4. Worst-case scenarios call for as much as 8 inches. The temperature will be hovering around freezing, so areas in southern Rhode Island and Southeastern Mass may see different snow totals depending on where the rain/snow line falls.
