
A "widespread soaking rainfall" is inbound, and it may make for a tough morning commute. The National Weather Service is warning of downpours that will drop 1-1.5 inches of rain across most of Rhode Island.
The rain is expected to move in late Tuesday night. It will intensify late Wednesday morning into the afternoon. The NWS said minor flooding is possible, but there are currently no weather warnings or advisories in effect.

The Weather Channel says there is a possibility of thunder. It'll be windy - about 10-20 miles per hour throughout the day - but the temperatures will stay above 50.

Rain is expected to continue into Thursday morning, but temperatures will be in the high 60s later in the day.
Next week is expected to see a couple of days with temperatures into the 70s.
