RI Weather: Winter Storm Warning For Heavy Overnight Snow
A winter storm watch will be in effect for the whole state.

You might not see a single flake of snow fall tonight, but much of Rhode Island will still wake up to several inches of snow Monday morning. A winter storm warning and winter weather advisory will be in effect across the state through Monday afternoon.
Monday is Presidents' Day, so no snow day, which is good because this one likely wouldn't have been called until early in the morning. The snow won't start until around midnight, the National Weather Service said. Lighter snow will linger into the afternoon.
Up to 4-7 inches of snow may fall in Rhode Island, with less amounts farther south. A winter storm watch. The southeastern part of Massachusetts is also expecting a healthy amount of snow - up to 8 inches - and will be under a winter storm warning.
