RI Weather: Light Snow Flurries, No Accumulation Expected
Scattered snow showers are in the forecast throughout the day.
Most Rhode Islanders are seeing light snowfall Wednesday morning, which are expected to continue throughout the late morning and into the afternoon. Little to no accumulation is expected.
Temperatures will be chilly throughout the day, only topping out in the mid-to-upper 30s. Depending on when the bands of snow hit, some roads could become briefly slippery, especially along the southern coast of the state.
So far, 2021 has been mostly snow-free in Rhode Island, and that's not expected to change in the near future. The latest forecast from The National Weather Service shows clear skies for the rest of the week.
