RI Weather: Weekend Storm To Bring Rain, Rain, Rain

After a sunny, if freezing week, a weekend storm is headed towards New England, making for wet, nasty weather throughout Saturday afternoon and night. Warmer temperatures will mean that snowflakes are unlikely to fly.

The rain is expected to start on Saturday afternoon, after 1 p.m. Temperatures are likely to be in the mid-40s, making for a chilly but ice-and-snow free day. The wet weather will continue throughout the evening hours, tapering off overnight ahead of a sunny day on Sunday.

The slightly warmer temperature will continue throughout the first half of the week, with temperatures expected to stay in the mid-40s. Not exactly summer heat, but a far cry from negative wind chills.
