RI Weather: When Snow Will Start Tonight, Stop Tomorrow Morning
A statewide winter weather advisory will be in effect during the timeframe of the expected snowfall.

Snow will start falling Wednesday evening and finish a bit before school starts Thursday. Forecasters are expecting 2-4 inches of snow, with higher amounts possible in the northern part of the state.
A statewide winter weather advisory will be in effect from 7 p.m. - 7 a.m. That is the timeframe snow is expected to fall. The snow should to be light and fluffy, according to forecasters.
Snow will start between 7-8 p.m. in most of Rhode Island, as late as 9 p.m. in the southernmost part. It will begin tapering off around 5 a.m. Thursday.
