RI Weather: Wind Advisory In Place Ahead Of Weekend Snow
A wind advisory is in effect across Rhode Island from 10 a.m. on Thursday until 1 a.m. on Friday.

Thursday will be chilly and windy, with a slight chance of rain in the morning and highs only reaching the mid-40s in the afternoon. Overnight, temperatures will drop to the high teens ahead of a blustery, chilly day on Friday, with highs only expected to reach 25 degrees. During the overnight hours, the frigid temperatures and blustery conditions will bring wind chills as low as negative one degree.
On Saturday, snow is expected to arrive in the later afternoon, with the first flakes forecasted to fly after 4 p.m. As much as five inches of accumulation are possible throughout the evening and overnight hours.
