Rough Point After Hours: Sights & Sounds of Shangri La

Rough Point's After Hours events are held once a month on the grounds of the property with a Sights & Sounds series inspired by the 2016 exhibition, Waterscapes: Islamic Architecture & Art from Doris Duke's Shangri La.

Come anytime between 5 and 7:30 pm to enjoy the music, art, and culture of the places that stirred Doris Duke's inspiration to create Shangri La, her Honolulu home.

Bring friends and family to the lawn at Rough Point for interactive activities, art making, and music. The theme for June 22nd is the Middle East and July 27th is inspired by Hawaii. Our final event on August 24th is inspired by the name "Shangri La" meaning "paradise on earth".

Food available for purchase; bring blankets or lawn chairs to relax! Rain or shine. Adults $10, kids 18 & under free.
