Sex Offender Violation, DUI: Newport Police Arrest Log

NEWPORT, RI — The following people were arrested by Newport police between Feb. 22 and Tuesday.

Names of those arrested or the town they reside in were only omitted when not provided by police.

Feb. 22

10:02 a.m. — Jose Martino, 42, of Greensboro, North Carolina, was charged with sex offender registration violation.

9 a.m. — Christian Bussatti Benero, 41, of Cranston, was charged with reckless driving.

6:55 p.m. — Seth Quest, 43, of Jamestown, was charge with resisting legal or illegal arrest and disorderly conduct.

Sunday

1:10 a.m. — Kojl Reddy, 22, of Newport, was charged with alcohol drinking, possessing an open container in public.

Monday

6:48 p.m. — Owen Long, 56, of Jamestown, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol (first offense), refusal to submit to a chemical test, laned roadway violation and entering from private road or driveway.

Tuesday

1:50 p.m. — Scott Pascula, 47, was charged with violating a no-contact order.
