Sexual Assault, 2 DUIs: Newport Police Arrest Log

NEWPORT, RI — The following people were arrested by Newport police between Friday and Wednesday.

Names of those arrested or the town they reside in were only omitted when not provided by police.

Friday

5:39 p.m. — Madeline Holloway, 29, of Newport, was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting legal or illegal arrest and vandalism/malicious injury to property.

Saturday

1:15 a.m. — Floyd Robinson, 38, was charged with domestic-disorderly conduct.

Sunday

3:45 a.m. — Felicia Neal, 31, of Newport, was charged with laned roadway violation, refusal to submit to a chemical test, vandalism/malicious injury to property and DUI drugs/alcohol (first offense).

9:03 p.m. — Oscar Mancia Chavez, 46, of Newport, was charged with DUI drugs/alcohol (first offense), refusal to submit to a chemical test, operating without evidence of insurance, reasonable and prudent speed and duty on collision with unattended vehicle.

Tuesday

9:05 a.m. — Houshang Azimi, 26, was charged with violating a no-contact order.

11:40 a.m. — Julian John, 22, of New York, New York, was charged with two counts of first-degree sexual assault.

Wednesday

10:45 a.m. — Jeffrey Leo, 36, of Rumford, was charged with violating a no-contact order.

1:30 p.m. — Luther Nance, 37, of Vernon Rockville, Connecticut, was charged with conspiracy and shoplifting.
