NEWPORT, RI—Police arrested Kirby Scott, 45, of Providence at the Connell Highway Walmart on Dec. 8 at 9:30 p.m. They were called to the store after a clerk complained a man was shoplifting merchandise.Police allege he stole a team cap, men's socks, a Hanes large tee-shirt and a pair of jeans.
