Special Election Tuesday: District 13 Senate Seat

NEWPORT, RI — Four candidates are vying to become the new state senator representing Jamestown and part of Newport. They are a Democrat, Dawn Euer; an Independent, Kimberly Ripoli; a Green Party member, Gregory Larson; and a Republican, Michael Smith.

Here are the polling times and places.

Jamestown and Newport polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Polling Places

In Jamestown, there are two polling places. District 1 voters go to the Jamestown Recreation Center, 41 Conanicus Ave., and District 2 voters to the Lawn Avenue School, 55 Lawn Ave.

In Newport, there are eight polling places.

Precinct 2102 voters go to Pell Elementary School, 35 Dexter St.

Precinct 21o3 voters go to St. Peter's Church, 525 Broadway.

Precinct 2104 voters go to St. John's Church Hall, 61 Poplar St.

Precinct 2105 voters go to Donovan Manor, 19 Chapel St.

Precinct 2106 voters go to Newport Public Library. 300 Spring St.

Precinct 2107 voters go to Rogers High School, 15 Wickham Road.

Precinct 2108 voters go to Thompson Middle School, 55 Broadway.

Precinct 2109 voters go to Park Holm Senior Center, 1 Einsenhower Road.
