Still in Critical Condition: Pedestrian Hit by Car in Broadway Crosswalk
An elderly man remained in critical condition on Thursday after being struck by a car last week, police said.

NEWPORT, RI — Police said Thursday they had no updates on the condition of the 83-year-old man struck by a car on Feb. 8.
At last report, he remained in Rhode Island Hospital in critical condition, Sgt. Jason Kleinknecht said Thursday.
Police have not released his name. He was in the crosswalk on Broadway near the Cumberland Farms shortly before 8 p.m. when he was struck by a car driven by a Jamestown teen, police said earlier.
