Friends of Ballard Park staff will lead a guided hike through the thirteen acre nature preserve pointing out its unique features and sharing some of its history as a working quarry in the late 1800’s. Ballard Park has a little over one mile of trail, a vernal pond, quarry meadow and woodland forest. Trails are rugged and steep in areas. Please wear proper footwear. Suggested Donation: $5 per person, $15 per group
