Taiwan Drivers Licenses Recognized In Rhode Island And Vice Versa
The Rhode Island Division of Motor Vehicles says the agreement will be signed Thursday.

PROVIDENCE, RI — Rhode Island officials are signing an agreement with Taiwan allowing immigrants from there to transfer their drivers licenses without a written or road test. Rhode Islanders will be allowed to transfer their license to Taiwan as well.
The Rhode Island Division of Motor Vehicles says the agreement will be signed Thursday.
Other states have similar agreements with Taiwan including Massachusetts, South Carolina, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Kentucky.
