Teachers' Association of Newport endorse four candidates for school committee

NEWPACE, the political action committee of the Teachers' Association of Newport, has completed the screening process of the Newport School Committee candidates through a thorough questionnaire and an

interview process. It is with great pleasure that we announce the endorsements of the following four candidates for the office of Newport School Committee:

Rebecca Bolan
David Carlin, III
Raymond Gomes
David Hanos, Jr.

NEWPACE firmly believes that all four of these candidates possess the knowledge and vision to propel the Newport Public School system forward to a place of academic excellence, shared values and community pride. More importantly, these individuals have the keen ability to listen to the views of all students, their families and the teachers and staff of the Newport Public School system.

Please remember, that although you may vote for seven candidates for the office of school committee, TAN is respectfully requesting that you, your family and friends vote for only these four candidates.
