Tip Leads to Arrest of Armed Drug Dealer near Park Holm
Christian Orlando Febles, 21, of Middletown, was arrested Oct. 19 at 4:55 p.m.

NEWPORT, RI — The silver gun used in the Sept. 2 Newport Heights drive-by shooting is in police custody after officers arrested a suspected drug dealer on Wednesday.
A tip from a confidential informant alleged that Christian Orlando Febles, 21, of Middletown, was selling cocaine at Park Holm and might be armed.
When police arrived, they said Febles told them, "My .22 is in my waistband." According to the police report, the gun was "fully loaded with eight rounds of ammunition."

After running the serial numbers, police concluded the .22 caliber revolver had been stolen from North Carolina.
According to the police report, Febles allegedly took the gun used in the Sept. 2 shooting, which hit a house. Although police arrested a suspect in that case earlier, the gun was still missing.

Febles is charged with two felonies-- carrying a pistol without a license and carrying a stolen firearm.
