Two Women, Juvenile, Charged After Fight at Festival Field Complex

Two women and a 17-year-old juvenile were arrested for disorderly conduct after they were involved in a large brawl at the Festival Field apartment complex on Sunday afternoon.

Newport Police said Michell Ann Fry, 37; Tylee Fry, 21; and the juvenile, all of 90 Girard Ave., were involved in the fight that caused nearly an entire apartment building to empty out, according to a police report.

Police were dispatched to the scene at around 2:45 p.m.

Upon arrival, police said they saw a large crowd scattered into small groups in the parking lot.

Police said after an investigation, they concluded that the younger Fry fought with the juvenile and the elder Fry pushed another woman at the scene.

All three were later released with summonses to appear in court at a later date.
