WATCH: What's it Like to Jump Out of a Plane above Newport?

The U.S. Navy Parachute Team, also known as "The Leap Frogs," have shared an eye-popping video of themselves plummeting towards Newport.

A highlight of the recent Naval Academy Preparation School graduation in Newport was when ”The Leap Frogs” made their landing.

They’re the high-flying stars of the U.S. Navy Parachute Team, a group of elite Navy SEALs, Special Warfare Combatant-Craft Crewmen and parachute riggers assigned to Naval Special Warfare. Each member is a volunteer who is assigned a three-year tour.

For a detailed history of the team, go HERE. But first, watch the video below, which the Leap Frogs said on Facebook is “an aerial view of Rhode Island you’ll rarely get to see.”
