Weather: High Winds, Cold Temperatures On The Way
The National Weather Service has issued a high wind advisory across Rhode Island from Friday night until 3 p.m. Saturday.

The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory for all of Rhode Island from 10 p.m. Friday until 3 p.m. on Saturday. Wind gusts could reach as high as 50 miles per hour, bringing the wind chill into the single digits.
The cold itself will be dangerous, but the wind gusts will be strong enough to knock down tree limbs and cause power outages. Patch will keep you up to date on local impacts, so subscribe to your local Patch for free.

The return of more "wintry weather" could come midweek next week, the National Weather Service said. The NWS didn't have much detail, but said it will "keep an eye on things" for Tuesday and Wednesday.
