Weekend Weather: Chance Of Thunderstorms On Saturday, Sunday

It's going to be another hot weekend, with a chance of scattered thunderstorms. Expect sunshine for most of the day on Saturday and Sunday, but maybe pack an umbrella, just in case.

If you're planning on heading to the beach, don't cancel your plans just yet. Thunderstorms are possible during the day on Saturday, most likely between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Heading into the evening hours, there will be another chance for storms before 10 p.m.

Sunday is expected to be nicer, with only a slight chance of thunderstorms and mostly sunny skies.

A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 10 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 69. Southwest wind 6 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Sunday
A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 85. Northwest wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
