Weekend Weather: Rainy Saturday, Skies Clear Sunday

Another half-and-half weekend is on the way for Southern New England. Spring temperatures finally seem like they're here to stay, with daytime highs expected to be in the high 50's and low 60's. Heavy rain is on the way late Friday night, tapering off Saturday morning with only a chance of showers during the day.

Sunday will be the best day for outdoor activities, with mostly clear skies and highs of nearly 60 degrees.

Rain likely before 8 a.m., then a chance of showers between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 63. Southwest wind 7 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
