A sunny, warm and pleasant weekend is ahead for Rhode Island, bringing relief from several oppressively humid days. Low humidity and clear skies are expected through Sunday, perfect for beach days, hikes and other outdoor activities.
Friday is shaping up to be a picture-perfect summer day, with a high in the mid-80s and 60 percent humidity, very comfortable and far less "sticky" than the past few days. According to the National Weather Service, the temperature will slowly drop over the weekend, falling to a high of 79 by Sunday.
