Following weekend after weekend of gray skies and rain, sunshine is on the way for Mother's Day weekend. Rain is in the forecast though, with showers expected during the day Friday and into the evening hours.

The rain is expected to clear late Friday night, with sunshine in the forecast until Sunday night. Saturday will be warm, with a high temperature of 65, and Sunday will be much of the same, with partly sunny skies and a high of 59.
