Woman Charged with Shoplifting Groceries at Connell Highway Stop & Shop
Police allege the woman paid for milk and Gatorade but was leaving the store with other items packed in plastic Walmart bags.

NEWPORT, RI—Jeanet Danielle Igle, 32, of Newport, was charged with a misdemeanor on Sunday at 7:34 p.m. She is accused of shoplifting groceries at the Connell Highway Stop & Shop.
According to police, the store manager was watching her as she packed items in gray Walmart bags and put them in her shopping cart. She did pay for milk and Gatorade, but the manager wanted her charged with shoplifting for the other items.
Police said the value was $347.87.

Igle said her friend was meeting her at the store to pay for the other items.
