'Multiple Parties Fighting' Outise New Shoreham Bar, 1 Man Arrested: Cops

NEW SHOREHAM, RI — "Multiple parties" were fighting outside a New Shoreham bar shortly after midnight on the Fourth of July but just one man was arrested, police said.

Dilan Bozzuto, 23, was charged with resisting legal or illegal arrest and disorderly conduct, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Bozzuto, a resident of Branford, Connecticut, was arrested after troopers responded to Captain Nick's Rock-n-Roll Bar to investigate a report of "multiple parties fighting outside" the establishment, the release said.

Bozzuto was "transported to the New Shoreham Police Department, where he was processed, and misdemeanor released with a notice to appear in Fourth District Court," according to the release.
