The project would reshape the coastal bluff on Spring Street to protect parish buildings, but board members raised questions about the method's effectiveness, impacts on neighbors, and long-term maintenance before weighing in for the zoning board.
   

• New Shoreham Council Extends Transfer Station Agreement (upriseri.com) — New Shoreham's Town Council has extended its transfer station operating agreement and greenlit work to improve island radio coverage, while also reviewing a major adaptive reuse zoning update. Councilors heard about funding plans for communications upgrades, a pending lawsuit over non-owner-occupied taxes, staffing and road issues, and upcoming chances for residents to weigh in on the comprehensive plan and school-building discussions.
